Fliess ED-SG2 MSG wire electrodes are suitable for joining and deposition welding of unalloyed and low-alloy structural steels, typically used in shipbuilding, pressure vessel, and steel construction. Weld metal analysis: C 0.09 %, Si 0.87 %, Mn 1.47 %. Mechanical properties: elongation 22 %, impact energy 100 J, yield strength 420 MPa, tensile strength 500 MPa. Approvals: TÜV, DB, CE, ABS. Designed for unalloyed steels with a yield strength of 420 MPa. Wire electrodes enable TIG, MAG, MIG welding and cladding on steel. Pulse arc welding recommended for ferrous materials. Available in various dimensions.
