Stainless Steel Round Tubes
A round tube is a long hollow body with a circular cross-section, whose wall thickness is small in relation to its diameter. It is used to pass liquids, gases, vapors, as well as solids of granular, dusty or mushy/sludgy consistency.
In this product, individual lengths may vary. Individual lengths are approximately 5-7 m long.
Stainless steel
With stainless steel material, we usually talk about rust, acid and heat resistant steels (RSH steels). The majority of these steels have an austenitic structure with a nickel content of at least 8% (as is the case, for example, with the material designations VA, V2A, V4A or NIROSTA). Austenitic steels are usually not magnetizable in the solution-annealed delivery condition. They are suitable for welding by all welding processes except gas welding. Compared with ferritic stainless steels, they have excellent cold-forming properties. Austenitic steels exhibit generally good corrosion resistance, as well as very good cold toughness and brittle fracture resistance at low temperatures.
Manufacturing method and surface treatment
Seamless products are usually tubes, structural hollow sections or hollow steels, usually made from round solid material. Seamless tubes are used, for example, in pressure-guided areas.
