This stainless steel threaded elbow fitting made of grade 1.4401 or 1.4436 is engineered for demanding applications in corrosive environments. As an austenitic stainless steel alloyed with molybdenum, it offers superior resistance to chloride-containing media and oxidizing acids—clearly outperforming standard grades like 1.4301. With its excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, good weldability, and cold formability, this fitting is suitable for use in chemical processing, medical technology, marine applications, as well as the food and pharmaceutical industries.
