Stainless steel round bar 1.4305 made of material EN 10060 with diameter 3 - 250 mm is a long product with circular cross-section. Material 1.4305 (X8CrNiS18-9) is a sulfur-alloyed variant of 1.4301 with improved machinability but lower corrosion resistance, unsuitable for food industry. Stainless steel contains at least 10.5% chromium and 8% nickel, is non-magnetic in solution-annealed condition and features good corrosion resistance, weldability except gas welding and excellent cold forming. Typical applications are in areas with lower corrosion demands and high machinability requirements. Manufactured by rolling at hot or cold conditions.
