Union K5 Ni wire electrodes from Voestalpine Böhler Welding are specifically developed for shielded gas welding of low-temperature tough fine-grain structural steels. They provide excellent toughness even at low temperatures, suitable for demanding environments. Mechanical properties: Yield strength 500 MPa, tensile strength 590 MPa, elongation 24%, impact energy 130 J. Typical chemical composition: C 0.10%, Si 0.70%, Mn 1.40%, Ni 1.40%. Standards: EN ISO 14341-A (G 50 5 M21 3Ni1), AWS A5.28 / SFA-5.28 (ER80S-G). Available configurations: Wire diameter 1.0 mm or 1.2 mm, spool type B 300-18.
