Union K 56 wire electrodes are suitable for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, particularly high-strength steels used in boiler, container, ship and vehicle construction. Weld metal analysis includes C 0.08 %, Si 1.05 % and Mn 1.65 %. Mechanical quality values are yield strength 480 MPa, tensile strength 580 MPa, elongation 24 % and impact energy 100 J. The electrodes comply with EN ISO 14341-A standard with classifications G 46 2 C1 4Si1 / G 46 4 M21 4Si1 and AWS A5.18 / SFA-5.18 with classification ER70S-6. They provide stable arc characteristics and additional bridging for large gaps. Available in various dimensions. Prices and availability are shown to registered users only.
