MEGAFIL 710 M cored wire electrodes – coppered – are suitable for all welding positions, especially in steel construction, shipbuilding, and automated robotic welding. Weld metal analysis includes C 0.05 | Si 0.7 | Mn 1.3 | P 0.015 | S 0.015, with mechanical properties of 27% elongation, 140 J impact energy, 530 MPa yield strength, and 600 MPa tensile strength. The product features a soft and stable arc for spatter-free welds and particularly low fume emissions. The metal core enables high deposition rates with the efficiency of standard electrodes.
