Thermanit 18/17 E Mn wire electrodes are austenitic filler metals with high manganese content, providing excellent toughness and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. They offer superior welding properties even under challenging conditions and high resistance to intergranular corrosion. Typical applications include power plants, tanks, chemical and pipeline construction, especially for mixed joints.
