The high-alloy TIG welding rods Thermanit GE 316 L are premium welding consumables specifically designed for welding austenitic stainless steels such as 316 and 316L. These rods feature a high content of chromium, nickel and molybdenum, providing excellent mechanical properties and outstanding corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and aggressive media. The low carbon content reduces carbide precipitation risk and increases resistance to intergranular corrosion. Thermanit GE 316 L welding rods enable stable and clean welds with minimal spatter and good weld pool fluidity.
