The BOA-COMPACT shut-off valve from KSB is a DIN/EN-compliant valve with flanged connections and short face-to-face length according to EN 558/14. It features an inclined seat design with a straight top part and one-piece housing. The throttle cone is EPDM-coated, with soft-sealing through-seal and back seal. Equipped with position indicator, locking device, stroke limiter, and insulating cap with dew point barrier, the valve is maintenance-free and fully isolatable. Technical data: Function shutting off/regulating, type of connection flange, electric or handwheel drive, housing material EN-GJL-250, nominal pressure PN 6 and PN 16, nominal diameter DN 15 to DN 200, permissible media temperature -10 to 120 °C. Advantages include lifelong tightness thanks to EPDM profile ring seal with permanent lubrication, minimal pressure loss, combined shut-off and throttling, optimal insulation, and cost-effective transport due to short length and low weight.
