Gate valve STAAL 100 AKD/AKDS by KSB made of carbon steel with flanges (AKD) or welded ends (AKDS) according to DIN/EN. Forged or welded body with cover flange, non-rotating spindle, movable wedge plates for precise adaptation to the seat surfaces, sealing surfaces made of wear- and corrosion-resistant 17% chrome steel or stellite. Suitable for nominal diameters DN 50 to DN 600, nominal pressure PN 63 and PN 100, temperature range -10 °C to +530 °C. Versions with handwheel, electric or pneumatic actuator. Increased sealing safety through comb-profiled cover gasket and chambered graphite packing. Standard back seal provides blow-out protection. Service-friendly design with movable wedge plates, bayonet connection (up to DN 250), or DIN/ISO flange (from DN 300). Long service life through armored sealing surfaces and ball-bearing threaded bushing. All information provided for technical reference only. Subject to change and correction.
