The stainless steel round bar 1.4021 (X20Cr13) according to EN 10060 is a martensitic stainless steel with high hardness and limited corrosion resistance. It is well suited for applications requiring increased strength, such as knives or mechanical components. Production is carried out by hot rolling, often followed by heat treatment such as quenching and tempering to improve toughness and dimensional accuracy. The material has limited weldability. Changes and errors excepted.
