Round bar made of heat-resistant stainless steel 1.4828 (X15CrNiSi20-12) with excellent properties up to approx. 950 °C in oxidizing atmospheres. The high silicon content forms an adherent scale layer enhancing oxidation resistance. Typical applications include heat treatment equipment, furnace construction, and exhaust systems. Not suitable for sulfurous gases above 640 °C. Produced by rolled and quenched manufacturing process, resulting in high hardness. Our service includes technical advice and fast delivery.
