Socket union with flat seat made of stainless steel 1.4401 and 1.4436, designed for use in highly corrosive environments such as chemical plants, marine applications, and food or pharmaceutical processing. With added molybdenum for superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Excellent cold formability, very good weldability, and non-magnetic in the annealed condition.
