Copper flat bar CW004A
A flat bar is an elongated iron with a rectangular cross-section with a width less than or equal to 150 mm and a thickness between 4 and 80 mm.
Copper
With its specific gravity of 8.92 g/cm³, copper is one of the heavy metals. It is considered the longest used metal of mankind. Copper is still a widely used material today due to its very good electrical conductivity. For this reason, copper is often used in the electrical and electronics industries. In addition, copper has good general corrosion resistance and is also used in the sanitary field, for example, as a pipe.
Material CW004A
Copper material CW004A, or Cu-ETP, is an oxygenated copper produced by electrolytic refining, which has high electrical conductivity. This material is used when high demands are placed on electrical conductivity, such as in the electronics industry. The oxygen content can cause so-called hydrogen sickness during welding, so joining by welding is not recommended. The chemical symbol for the copper material CW004A is Cu-ETP.
Standardization: EN 13601
EN 13601: Copper and copper alloys - Copper rod and wire for general electrical applications.
