Gate valve STAAL 40 AKDS by KSB made of carbon steel with welded ends according to DIN/EN. Forged or welded body with cover flange, non-rotating spindle, movable wedge plates for precise adaptation to the housing seats, sealing surfaces made of wear- and corrosion-resistant 17% chrome steel. Suitable for nominal diameters DN 50 to DN 900, nominal pressure PN 10 to PN 40, temperature range -10 °C to +450 °C. Versions available with handwheel or electric actuator. Maintenance-friendly design with plate holder, simple actuator mounting on bracket head. Standard back seal for blow-out protection. Long service life thanks to stop nut, ball-bearing threaded bushing, and armored sealing surfaces. Suitable for various applications due to non-ferrous metal-free threaded bushing.
