Cold drawn round bars made of material 1.0579 in the conditions S355D+C/SH and S355J2C+C/SH are unalloyed quality steels with a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa. The +C/SH delivery condition refers to a chip-machined surface, ensuring high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface finish. These round bars are ideal for mechanical and plant engineering as well as vehicle construction where strength and precision are essential. The material is weldable and machinable but not corrosion-resistant – suitable surface protection is recommended for outdoor use. Changes and errors excepted.
