The extruded aluminum round bar EN AW-2033 (AlCu2.5BiMnMg) is a hardenable alloy from the 2xxx series offering high strength and excellent machinability. The alloy contains copper, bismuth, manganese, and magnesium, making it suitable for precision components in mechanical engineering. Full mechanical properties are achieved only after heat treatment such as solution annealing followed by artificial aging. Due to limited corrosion resistance, surface protection is recommended for outdoor applications. Changes and errors excepted.
