The drawn aluminum round bar EN AW-2033 (AlCu2.5BiMnMg) is a high-machinability alloy from the 2xxx series. It combines medium strength with excellent chip formation and is suitable for precision components in mechanical engineering, automotive, and aerospace applications. The addition of bismuth and manganese improves machinability, while magnesium contributes to strength. As the material offers only limited corrosion resistance, surface protection is recommended for outdoor use. Changes and errors excepted.
