MEGAFIL A 760 M cored wire electrodes – coppered – are suitable for automated and fully mechanized welding of high-impact wear parts such as gripper and excavator teeth, conveyor screws, and crusher jaws and cones. Weld metal analysis includes C 0.5 | Si 0.6 | Mn 1.5 | Cr 6.0 | Mo 0.5 with hardness values ranging from HRC 55–65. The product features good re-ignition properties, no slag formation, stable arc, machinability, and hardenability. A buffer layer is only necessary for welding-critical base materials. No re-drying required. Suitable for robotic welding applications. The metal core enables high deposition rates with high efficiency. Approval: EN ISO.
