Sheet made of aluminum alloy EN AW-5754 (AlMg3) – hot rolled – is a non-heat-treatable aluminum-magnesium alloy offering excellent corrosion resistance, good strength, and outstanding formability, especially in tempers such as H111 or H22. It provides exceptional resistance to seawater, industrial atmospheres, and mild chemicals, and is easily weldable with common techniques. Typical uses include vehicle and trailer construction, shipbuilding, pressure vessels, and facades and roofing. The alloy is suitable for cold forming, not heat-treatable but cold-work strengthened.
